1. Introduction
At Bizzmakr, we strive to ensure a seamless experience for all users, including both freelancers and seeking freelancers. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring users to request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted, the process for requesting a refund, and any applicable fees or restrictions.
By using Bizzmakr, you agree to this Refund Policy, which is designed to protect the rights of both service providers and clients while maintaining platform integrity.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are only granted under the following conditions:
Time Limit:
Refund Requested Within 24 Hours of Payment
- If a seeking freelancer (client) requests a refund within 24 hours of making the payment:
- The refund will be approved by the Bizzmakr Support Team within 48 hours of the request.
- This applies only if the refund request is initiated through the platform and falls within the 24-hour time window.
- Service and transaction fees may still apply.
- No extensive dispute review will be required, but platform usage integrity will be considered.
Refund Requested After 24 Hours of Payment
- If the refund is requested after 24 hours of the initial payment:
- The request will be manually reviewed by Bizzmakr's mediation team.
- Refund approval may take 48 hours or longer, depending on:
- The complexity of the case,
- The extent of work already completed,
- The time elapsed since the order was placed.
- The outcome of the review may lead to:
- A full or partial refund to the client, or
- A release of funds to the freelancer.
- Decisions are made based on:
- Communication history,
- Delivery status,
- Work progress, and
- Overall adherence to platform policies.
Note: The 24-hour refund eligibility period begins from the exact timestamp of payment confirmation.
Service Charge Deduction: If a refund is approved, Bizzmakr will deduct the applicable service charge before processing the refund.
Order Status: Refunds are only applicable if the order is not marked as completed and no substantial work has been delivered by the freelancer.
Client (Seeking Freelancer) Initiated Refunds: The refund request must be initiated by the seeking freelancer through the platform.
Escrow Protection: If funds are held in escrow and no milestones have been released, the refund may be granted after review.
Non-Refundable Cases:
Refunds will not be granted under the following conditions, particularly after the 24-hour automatic refund window has passed:
- Work Already Delivered & Approved
- If the freelancer has submitted work and the seeking freelancer has approved or accepted it.
- Order Marked as Completed
- Once an order is marked complete by the client after the delivery, refunds are no longer eligible.
- Substantial Progress Made
- If the freelancer has already invested substantial time or work on the order, even if delivery hasn't been officially marked.
- Custom or Non-Reversible Services
- Services involving consultations, intellectual property, creative work, or custom-built solutions that cannot be "returned."
- Payments Made Outside the Platform
- Transactions done outside Bizzmakr violate platform policy and are not eligible for refund protection.
- Dispute Decision Finalized by Bizzmakr
- If Bizzmakr's Conflict Resolution Team has reviewed the case and made a final decision in favor of the freelancer.
- Fraudulent or Abusive Requests
- Refund requests flagged as manipulative, abusive, or made in bad faith will be denied and may result in penalties.
3. Refund Process
A. Refund Requested Within 24 Hours of Payment
If a Seeking Freelancer requests a refund within 24 hours of making the payment, follow this process:
- Go to Workstation
- Navigate to the "My Orders" tab on your dashboard.
- Select the Order
- Find the service you want a refund for.
- Initiate a Refund Request
- Click on the three dots beside the order and select "Cancel Order" to initiate the refund request.
- Review Process
- The Bizzmakr Support Team will review the request within 48 hours of submission.
- Refund Decision
- A decision will be communicated to the user within 48 hours after review.
- Processing Time
- If the refund is approved, it will be processed within 5 business days.
- During this time:
- The refund amount will appear in the Seeking Freelancer's wallet under "In Progress".
- Once the processing period ends, the amount will be moved to "Available Balance" in the wallet.
- The Seeking Freelancer can then either:
- Submit a withdrawal request using their desired or saved payment method, or
- Use the available funds to pay for another job or gig on Bizzmakr.
B. Refund Requested After 24 Hours of Payment
If a Seeking Freelancer requests a refund after 24 hours of payment:
- Go to Workstation
- Navigate to the "My Orders" tab on your dashboard.
- Select the Order
- Choose the service order you wish to request a refund for.
- Initiate a Refund Request
- Click the three dots and select "Cancel Order" to open a support ticket for refund consideration.
- Review Process
- The request will be manually reviewed by the Bizzmakr mediation team.
- Refund Decision
- A decision will be communicated typically within 48 hours, but may take longer depending on:
- Complexity of the case
- Time elapsed since payment
- Work progress and delivery status
- Processing Time
- Once approved, the refund will be processed within 5 business days.
- During this time:
- The refund amount will appear in the Seeking Freelancer's wallet under "In Progress".
- Once the processing period ends, the amount will be moved to "Available Balance" in the wallet.
- The Seeking Freelancer can then either:
- Submit a withdrawal request using their desired or saved payment method, or
- Use the available funds to pay for another job or gig on Bizzmakr.
Note: If a dispute arises, Bizzmakr's mediation team will evaluate the situation before making a final decision.
4. Refund Methods & Processing Time
Refunds are processed using the original payment method used during the transaction.

5. Dispute Resolution
If a freelancer disagrees with a refund request, they may file a dispute within 24 hours of the refund initiation. Bizzmakr's mediation team will:
- Review communication and project details between both parties.
- Assess whether work was delivered and approved.
- Determine if the refund request complies with Bizzmakr's policies.
- Make a final decision, which is binding for both parties.
6. Platform Fees & Deductions
If a refund is approved, Bizzmakr will apply the following deductions as applicable:
- Service Charge (Non-Refundable)
- The service charge paid to Bizzmakr at the time of placing the order is non-refundable, regardless of the refund timing or outcome.
- Transaction Fees
- Any third-party payment gateway fees (e.g., card processors, mobile wallets) may be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Penalty Fees for Fraudulent or Abusive Requests
- If a refund request is determined to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith, Bizzmakr may impose penalties, including account suspension or termination.
- Administrative Fees for Delayed Conflict Resolution
- If the conflict resolution process is delayed excessively due to lack of cooperation from either the seeking freelancer, the freelancer, or both:
- Bizzmakr reserves the right to deduct an administrative fee to cover extended processing and support costs.
Tip: Ensure you communicate with freelancers before requesting a refund to resolve concerns amicably.
7. Special Cases & Exceptions
Refunds will not be approved if the Terms and Conditions are not met.
This includes-but is not limited to-cases of fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, or failure to comply with platform rules.
